DM3730 Video port in CPI mode

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

We’ve got a question for you about the video input port on the DM3730, specifically in CPI mode.  We were wondering if it would be possible to use the CPI port to input non-video data into the DM3730.

The idea would be that we use the CPI port in synchronous mode and manually control the Horizontal Sync and Vertical Sync to input ADC data into the DM3730 and have it write that data to internal memory without manipulating/changing the data in any way.  Is this possible?  I did some reading and it looked like it might be, but I wasn’t 100% sure.

Any info/help you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.  We’ve got some hardware in house we can use to test this design, but we wanted to make sure it was even possible before we started developing our test.
