omap 4460 video encoding and decoding solution for linux

I' m looking for some samples and suport libs. Some docs is OK.

I'm trying to do this in omap 3 before which TI supply a SDK.

But now I' m confusing where I should start my work?

I'm considering using GStreamer or OpenMax.

Is gst-openmax helping?

Your question is not clear to me. First, are you working with OMAP4 or OMAP3? Are you trying to use Android or Generic Linux? Our OMAP Android releases are detailed here, and they already have video encode/decode functionality: http://www.omappedia.com/wiki/Release_Notes
