sync in analog camera interface in OMAP4460

hi,

I am using the OMAP4460 in my project. i want to use the analog camera for this. while converting the analog camera output (NTSC/PAL) to BT656, i am confused that OMAP4460 support which one syncronization scheme?  in most of the decoder i am having embedded sync and horizontal and vertical sync seperate. on the OMAP4460 datasheet the pin for horizontal and vertical sync is there but i was not able to see the pin for embedde sync. will you please let me know the sync scheme supported on CPI in OMAP4460?

    Hi Ankush,

    As per the OMAP4460 TRM, the Parallel Camera Interface (CPI) offers the following features as per the details under Section 8.2.1.1 ISS Interface Features

    Parallel interface (CPI)
    • 16 bits wide
    • up to 148.5 MPix/s
    • BT656 and SYNC mode (HS, VS, FIELD, WEN)

    I hope this clarifies your queries on what sync modes supported by CPI on OMAP4460.
