Hi all,

I am trying to boot Windows EC7 on Mistral OMAP3530 EVM (Omap EVM Main Board Rev G) using sd card.

I have built a sample OS image using TI_OMAP_3530 BSP included in WEC7 evaluation version from microsoft.

Followed the steps in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WinCE-BSP_ARM-A8_Quick_Start_Guide for booting.

ie, Set the SW4 switch and copy the MLO,EBOOTSD.NB0, NK.BIN to SDCard using the TI SDCard boot utility.

But while powering on, no print is seen on the hyperterminal.

I am using Transcend SD card. Have tried FAT and FAT32 filesystems.

please help....

Hi,

I get some print on Tere term @115200 but it is not readable(Used UART3).Tried other baud rates also.But no readable print.

Hi Jayaram,

I recommend trying the TI Common BSP, which you can get here: http://www.adeneo-embedded.com/Products/Board-Support-Packages/Texas-Instruments

What other serial port settings are you using? You should try the following:

Port: <whatever port your connected to on your workstation>

Baud rate: 115200

Data: 8 bit

Parity: none

Stop: 1 bit

Flow control: none

Thank you for the response,

I am using the same serial port settings.(115200,8,none,1,none).The prints on tera term are not continuous and readable but I could boot the device by entering inputs.

Hi,

As Adeneo said try to use the default binaries which will give rules out other possible errors such as board went bad and etc...

Hi Jayaram,

I wish you to try with MLO, EBOOTSD.nbo provided in Demo folder of BSP installed directory.
