DM814x Video Output Format

Hi everyone!

When  DVO Format is dual-stream 656 mode(Y/CbCr-20 bits),

does  that mean video output format  is BT.1120? or BT.656?

Is there  any documentation on video output formats  that contains specific descriptions like port usages or timing diagrams for each mode?

    Hi,

    DVO format supported is BT1120 and BT656, but maximum clock speed is 165MHz.  For BT656 you need dual rate clock so it cant support all resolution. But BT1120 can support all resolutions. Further Venc can output RGB as well with R, G and B on 3X10 bit bus and Control signals like Hsync, VSync, Pixel Clock and FID. It can support embedded syncs all well.  Timing diagrams will be in HDVPSS TRM which is under NDA. You need to contact local FAE for same.
