What is the purpose of the DDR_VTT_EN siganl on the starter kit? I understand it enables the termination regulator but why is it just not pulled high?
Enabling the GPIO controller in the SPL (MLO) is a real pain just to pull this pin high. Just what effect does enabling vs not enabling have on the DRAM?
The GPIO signal used is one that use to go (on the EVM) to the backlight control of the LCD as this pin can be configured as a PWM output. Now this ability seems to be lost.
