Camera Interface with AM1808

Dear All,

I am working on AM1808 processor. I would like to add ‘Camera’(3Mega Pixel) features to this processor.

 

Will this processor supports camera feature. If supports please tell me the supported Camera part number

 

and corresponding kernel & test application.

    has support for VPIF on da850/omap-l138 board/AM1808. MT9T031 sensor support has been added and is tested

    Thanks for given the reference.

    Could you please send us the schematic of this Camera module with our processor interface. There is a confusion in schematic, MT9T031 datasheet and schematic

    is not matching. Please send us the data sheet.

    Hi,

    In 'MT9T031' datasheet there is 'Frame Valid', 'Line Valid' and 'Strobe' three signals are going to some where.

    I am interfacing these signals to my AM1808 Processor. Could you please find out where should i interface these two signals in my AM1808 processor.

    Other signals are clear for me. Please help me.

    Hi,

    'Frame Valid'--->  Should be Vertical Sync, this needs to be connected to raw_v_valid pin

    'Line Valid' ------> Should be Horizontal Sync, this needs to be connected to raw_h_valid pin

    I am not sure about the Strobe.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

    I need another query, While zooming is it required any additional lens for changing the zoom in and out option.

    Please let us know. If yes, how to interface and choose the lens.

    I am also using the same camera sensor but we are using 5MP “Aptina MT9P031”. Will this supports in my AM1808 board.

     

    We have designed our customization across the attached schematics.

     

    Could you please share this related schematics and driver source code.
