Beagleboard - Wi-Fi on Android

Hi,

I am running Android Jelly Bean on the beagleboard-xm based on latest rowboat release.

From looking at posts Wi-Fi using USB does not seem to be working for other users.

I can also see from the release notes that Wi-Fi/Android on the beagleboard-xm is an issue. 

I was wondering is there any workaround on this issue or is there any android build for the xm that supports usb wifi.

    Different usb-wifi modules use different drivers/configurations etc, so it will not be possible to have a "standard" way of getting usb wifi to work.

    I would suggest you browse through the various internet forums to see if your particular device works with android and how.
