Hello,

Can you explain me briefly in the latest AM3358 schematics for the baseboard how the PMIC_GPIO signal is used -what exactly is doing - between the Power management unit TPS65910 and AM3358 processor?

Hi Yu-Li,

PMIC_GPIO isn't used at all - R57 which connects it to the PMIC isn't populated on the board.

To summarise then, this signal is used for the RTC reset when the RTC power is not available.

What is the purpose of having 2 gates for the PMIC_GPIO on the EVMAM3358 baseboard? There is U6A and then U1. Why U1 is used?

U1 forms the signal front from the R-C circuit that's before it.
