What features of SVC are supported on DM8168?

Dear TI,

What features of Scalable Video Coding are now supported for the H264 encoder & decoder in RDK2.8 on DM8168?

Only temporal scalability available for H264 encoder?

And all features of SVC such as temporal, spatial or SNR scalability options are available for H264 decoder?

Any help?

Encoder link only supports SVC - Temporal.

Decoder link does not have any interface related to SVC layer selection. So it would decode the stream as a regular h.264 encoded stream.

Is this same as RDK3.5 ?

Yes this is same situation in RDK 3.5 release also
