  • Hi,

    Can you check if nfs service is running on your host machine and the folder containing file system is shared?

    Regards,

    Brijesh Jadav

  •  sudo /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server restart
     * Stopping NFS kernel daemon                                            [ OK ]

    yes.it is shared.

  • This bit in your boot log looks a bit odd:

    IP-Config: Guessing netmask 255.255.255.0
    IP-Config: Complete:
         device=eth0, addr=214.190.255.184, mask=255.255.255.0, gw=255.255.255.255,

         bootserver=255.255.255.255, rootserver=192.168.1.51, rootpath=

    Your device and servers are on different subnets. Might be your u-boot nfsroot env var needs to be changed. I can't quite figure out your u-boot environment. Hard to tell where the lines begin. Try inserting a space after "ip=${ipaddr}".

  • I really dont know whats the problem......

    output did'nt change

  • Maybe try manually booting up from u-boot. Enter these 3 lines at the u-boot prompt.

    setenv bootargs mem=120M console=ttyS0,115200n8 root=/dev/nfs noinitrd rw nfsroot=${nfshost}:${rootpath},nolock ip=${ipaddr}:${serverip}::255.255.0.0::eth0:off davinci_enc_mngr.ch0_mode=pal davinci_enc_mngr.ch0_output=COMPOSITE video=davincifb:vid0=0,2500K:vid1=0,2500K:osd0=720x576x16,2025K

    nboot 80700000 0 2060000

    bootm

    The above assumes static IP addresses:

    serverip=192.168.1.51
    ipaddr=192.168.112.73
    nfshost=192.168.1.51

    If possible, please post your u-boot environment variables without any word wrap and padding. It is very difficult to tell what is your u-boot environment.

  • my environment variables:

     bootdelay =3
     rootpath ="/home/targetfs"
