ARM will not boot Linux: hwclock: can't open '/dev/misc/rtc'

Hi

I have an evm that uses the TCI6614 processor. The ARM core has been booting Linux with no problems, but today it will not boot.

Please take a look at the following console listing and suggest what may be the problem.
