How to use PREEMPT_RT Patch?

Hi

I am just wondering whether anyone has tried using the PREEMPT_RT patch with any arago Linux distribution on ARM?

Actually, I am rather confused about the PREEMPT_RT patch. I read that the patch was included in the kernel from 2.6 onwards. My arago distro is version 3.3.  Does that mean it will include the patch already? Or will there still be some patching to be done?

Do I then need to build the kernel with option CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT=y?
