Controlling AM335x GP EVM User LEDs

we've purchased an AM335x General purpose EVM and have the PSP Linux build running on it. I have the Linux development platform set-up for it. I am trying to figure out how to control the User LEDs on the daughterboard.

The boards I have are the 1.4A base-board rev and 1.2A daughter-board rev. I've downloaded the corresponding schematics, but only found layout files for rev 1.1A, as these are the only ones available from the EVM website. So far I've gathered that the D1-D8 LEDs are for use with the J18 expansion header.

The other LEDs I can see on the board are D9-D16, which look like they must be controlled via a CPLD. Could someone please tell me how to address the CPLDs to turn the LEDs on/off?

Up until I found the right schematics I had a look into how to do that with the GPIO lines but couldn't find information other than at http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/717/t/130602.aspx#468956, which doesn't seem to be useful anymore for CPLD controlled lines.
