BQ34z100 fuel gauge driver for ANDROID

Hi Engineers

I'm designing ANDROID ICS custom device with AM335x. For my device i have bq34z100 fuel gauge chip, but in my kernel there is driver for bq27x00 chip only.

How can i integrate bq34z1000 chip with my android device for display the battery status.

Is there any driver available for this chip, or i have to write?

if i need to write kindly guide me to write the driver.?

I can think of two possible approaches:

- modify the existing driver to work with the newer part. This needs documentation for your device.

- ask for the driver sample from your vendor.

Bq34Z100 is TI's product , Is TI provide any driver for this chip.?
