Is every port has its own Mac Address and IP , or there is only one Mac Address and IP in the Gbe ?

I am a student ,i cannot understand the Gbe , please help me, thanks.

Hi xi,

Simply speaking, C6678 GbE can handle multiple MAC addresses and IP addresses at the same time. (But C6678 hardware does not completely recognize TCP/IP, so we need software running on it.)

Regarding the two GbE ports of C6678, it is considered that there is a 3 ports Ethernet switch inside the C6678. (One of the 3 ports are connected inward, so only 2 physical posts exist.)
