Tiler vs. Raw - codec performance

Hello,

DS shows codec performance for usecase using tiled memory only. What than will be the change in the performance in (MCPS) if raw memory is used ? How will it affect B/W ? using H.264 enc in dm8168.

Hi Lee,

The performance would drop by around 10-15% with the usage of RAW instead of TILER memories. Also the DDR BW increases with usage of RAW memory.

Is there also evaluation for the decrease in BW ?
