DM814x Power Estimate Spreadsheet: does it wrongly predict power too high?

I am trying to calculate the power consumed by a new design, which will use a DM8147 or DM8148 (industrial temperature range).

I have tried using two revisions of the Power Estimate Spreadsheet:

DM814x_AM387x_PowerSpreadSheet_RevB.xls

DM814x_AM387x_PowerSpreadSheet_RevE0.xls

When I enter the same design parameters on both, I get a large difference in predicted power consumption:

RevB predicts >1.9 W

RevE0 predicts <1.6 W

This is of great concern to me as I have very little power available in my application.

I assume the Power Estimate Spreadsheet is based on the parameters of actual parts.  I understand that production Commercial/Industrial DM8147/DM8148 are only just becoming available so I am imagining that the spreadsheets I have are based on pre-production, development parts.

How can I find out what the power consumption of the final, production Industrial DM8147/DM8148 will be?

Have TI got any data I can have, indicating if the power consumption of production Industrial DM8147/DM8148 is better than development parts?

Thank you for your help.
