View System Registers with code composer studio for am1808

Hi, 

I have am-1808 running linux, i am developing drivers and i want to see values of internal registers (CE2CFG, CFGCHIP3 etc) in the real time (while the driver is running), i am using Code Composer Studio (v5) and i have Blackhawk (XDS 100 V-2). I need reference(links) to the documents, guides, tutorials which can explain connecting blackhawk with ccs and then monitoring the register values.
