Hi,
When it requires the username and password on U-Boot?
whether it is on booting time or some other purpose?
Please specify the purpose of this.

Hi ,
From your specifications your problem may be within the following:
CASE 1:
If it’s the uboot prompt ie., U-Boot >
You need to further boot the board with linux. You can refer this wiki page on how to boot linux in OMAP-L138
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GSG:_Booting_the_OMAP-L138_Out_of_the_Box
CASE 2:
If it’s the linux prompt ie., Login:
then as Balaji specified its root.
If your case doesn’t appear to be within the above cases, let us know the prompt in which its asking for the login ID and password and send the screenshot of your problem.
