Is C66 only support ELF format when boot it ?
Its Confused me :(

Hi xi,
Please refer http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6000_EABI_Migration and also http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6000_EABI:Introduction_to_EABI for the purpose of accuracy.
In addition, you will find a related discussion here (http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/bios/f/355/p/119907/767111.aspx).
From historical standpoint, TI C6000 binary file format was COFF so far. Compiler generated .obj and linker generated .out file by default. Both files were in COFF format. However, TI recently decided to migrate from COFF to ELF. File extension .obj and .out did not change but internal format vary (COFF or ELF).
My recommendation is using ELF for C66. It's not only for booting but also for compilation, linking and loading .out by CCS.

Atsushi
