DM3730 Speech codec with gstreamer

Hi,

We are using DVSDK.4_01_00_09 on DM3730 based Beagle Xm. DVSDK having G711 speech codec . But, We didn't find any examples or pipelines for speech codec (g711). We followed the aac codec examples to run speech codec But, it is not worked.

How to use Speech codec (g711 or g726) with gstreamer on DM3730 ?

It seems Speech codecs (g.711, g.726, etc..) are not currently supported as elements in the gstreamer implementation. If you want to run speech codecs you would need to refer the audio decoder elements and write the same decoder elements for speech. Basically you would create a new element.

We are already following the above 2 links. Gstreamer_ti forum also says that we need to create own element. We will work on that way.
