DM8168 EMAC loopback mode

Hi,

I have two questions:

We are certainly using tools like iperf to run a client/server and loopback IP traffic through the EMAC peripheral.

However we are also looking at a more pure EMAC packet loopback mode. There is a bit in EMAC MACCONTROL register called LOOPBACK. Do we have an existing MAC loopback test that can take incoming MAC packets and loop them back, leveraging the loopback bit. Ethernet packets are generated by test equipment (IXIA).
