Hi

I am using C6748 on our custom board. I want to boot it from serial SPI flash.

 

What I want to do is convert my .out file into text file (tektronik format). Then I am going to write that code into SPI flash with my own code on the DSP

by taking the boot file from UART in text format.

 

I am confused how can do that.

 

I try to use HEXAIS_OMAPL138.exe with -otype text, it can do .ais  conversion but gives an error of mode not supported. I assumed it does not support text output for SPI flash boot.

 

 

is this correct.
