DM8148 EZSDK and PSP04.04 with V4L2 capture driver and GC0308 sensor

Hi,

 

I am looking at the V4L2 capture driver in the PSP 04.04 as our customer is using the GC0308 sensor, which is an 8-bit YUV422 with discrete syncs and 640x480 resolution sensor. The customer is intending to connect the GC0308 (8-bit data, discrete syncs, an I2C interface) to VIP0.

What I need is confirmation that the existing V4L2 capture driver with some modifications can support this sensor.

Certainly the lowlevel TVP7002 driver would need to be changed out with another driver.

Beyond that, what driver modification would be required?
