Hello,

i am a researcher in the field of the power electronics and power system and i need a DSP to get output pulses to my switching devices like GTO,MOSFET,..........

the switching frequency may be 600MHZ so i am in need for a recommendation for a specified Type(single core or multicore   ,  series and number ) of the DSP which can do this function with high quality.

    Ahmed,

    You will have to do a lot more of the system design before making that decision. What I/O type, what frequency, what input/output sources and number, what signal processing work needs to be done in what amount of time. And there is probably a lot more. The datapoint of 600MHz seems quite high, but is also insufficient to give you any useful information without knowing a lot more about what you are doing.

    The C2000 family is commonly used for high-end power supply systems. The C6678 has the most processing power of any of our currently available multi-core processoring devices. So those are a couple of starting points for you, and the answer is likely somewhere in between.
