OMAP4 boards and raspberry pi are not exactly the same category of hardware/price so it is a bit difficult to compare them. OMAP4 is an SMP system, which can run armv7-a Ubuntu. Raspberry Pi is an ARM11 uniprocessor system, which can run Debian.
OMAP4 boards are publicly available today (see http://www.pandaboard.org/) AFAIK, OMAP5 is available today only under NDA. It will not be so easy for the "public" to get an OMAP5 board today.
