TMS320C66x sha256 performance

Processing of Hash Codes tends to be low performance processing and would not typically be a primary function of a high performance multi-core DSP and as such we most likely would not have done any benchmarking on it.  That said, one could assume that it can be done at a high rate of performance on a TMS320C66x device. 

If you have significant amount of Hash code processing, such as thousands of channels continuously performing hash coding that needs to be done, then I'd suggest getting the CCS Simulator, which includes C66x devices to simulate and benchmark the performance of the hash coding you need.
