DM8168 Capture 2 Simultaneous Video inputs?

Is it possible with the DM8168 to capture two separate 1080p60 video input streams simultaneously?

I want to run one input on Vin[0] and the other on Vin[1].

It seems like the the hardware should be capable of this, but does the software that comes with the Ti EVM support this?

If not, how would one go about making this work?

Hi Tim,

Yes, simultaneous capture is possible on DM8168. You need to add support to enable 2nd channel from driver.

According to my understanding, TI kernel does not provide this feature (not sure if it is added in recent releases).

However, you should easily modify TI kernel and achieve this. I have done this with EZSDK 5.03 and EZSDK5.04 with EVM + Video Conference daughter card.
