Hi Experts,
after upgrade to CCS 5.3.0 on my Ubuntu 12.04 machine, i try to simulate NETCP with C6670 simulator.
But, the two registers to hold these values, MACID1 (0x02620110) and
MACID2 (0x02620114) are both zero.
Best regards,
Matthias

Matthias,
Yes, this is a simulator, it's not going to have unique MACID. You'll need to program the MACID that you want to use for the simulation.

Hi Chad,
i found this website:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BIOS_MCSDK_2.0_User_Guide#Building_and_running_NDK_client_example_with_simulator
I alter this file:
<my ccsv5 install dir>/ccsv5/ccs_base/simulation_keystone1/bin/configurations/tisim_c6670_pv.cfg
INPUT2 ADAPTOR, ON;
But MAC is still 00:00:00:00:00:00.
(Ubuntu 12.04, latest CCSv5 )
Best Regards,
Matthias
