how to support 720P 25fps display on dm368

What is the video source?

720p 25fps,but i saw the driver only support 1080p 30fps or 720p 30fps,if i send 25fps source to display it will play faster,isn't it ?

It will not be playing it faster. It will be repeating frames in between. Changing the display refresh rate according to your video source might not be a good idea. 

i think the display driver should be support  25fps,what can i do?change the video source from 25fps to 30fps?

If you change the video source from 25-30 fps, it will only change the capture path. If you are having a display already running at 30fps, you don't have to worry.

Also I think vpif_display.c is a wrong file to modify as its not applicable for DM36x platform. Cross check once more before modifying the code in vpif_display.c.

       you said" vpif_display.c is a wrong file to modify as its not applicable for DM36x platform", are you sure?that means the display driver will not support 25fps on DM36x?       BTW，i've tested 25fps play on dm368(default rate 30fps),i did'nt see any repeating frames,it  workes i think.

Yangchar,

vpif_display.c is not applicable for DM36x. It is applicable for another DM6467 and similar SoCs, where they have a Video port interface instead of VPSS subsystem. In DM36x VPBE(video processing back end) subsystem is used for display. I'm not sure about the support for 25fps in VPBE driver. What I'm saying is that you've to check the right display driver code.
