Hello,

I am using C5000 Audio capacitive touch boost pack with Msp Exp430G2 and I want to interface that with Msp430fg4618. I want to send an interrupt signal from Msp430fg4618 to Msp430G2 which will enable an audio file from C5000. How is it possible?And how do I use Msp430 application UART ?

Hi,

The MSP430 code for the ACTBP is available on http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Audio_Capacitive_Touch_BoosterPack_MSP430_Software

It should be quite easy to reprogram the MSP430G2553 to accept an interrupt, then send the commands to the C5000 to start playing an MP3.

Start by rebuilding and reloading the existing MSP430 code, understand the state machine / C5000 commands and play around, then add the interrupt support.

Hi,

Thank you for your input. The problem I am facing is that C5000 is using up all the pins on G2553. Is there any way to free up one pin on G2553 so that I can send an interrupt signal from MSP430FG4618.
