Dose the encode demo of DVSDK can support AAC format and how？

I‘m running the encode demo of DVSDK_04_03_00_06 in DM3730,and the encode demo could only support the speechfile format g711.However,I want to encode the voice to AAC format,so does the encode can support the aac format and how?

Hi,

The only supported speech algorithm as of now is G.711 (.g711 extension). More detailed description of the parameters of the encode script you could find in the /usr/share/ti/dvsdk-demos/encode.txt file.

You know,the decode demo of the DVSDK can support AAC formmat?So I want to know whether the encode can support AAC format or not and how difficult of supporting the AAC format and how to support AAC format? Could you give me some advice?

Qingbo,

Which SoC are you looking for? Is it DM3730?

It is possible to support AAC. I'm not sure about the efforts required. Will have to check with our codec team.
