Hi,

I'm trying to download a u-boot on OMAP3530 assembly with Micron memory PoP, based on Mistral OMAP EVM (Rev G).

I’m using for that the Flash 1.6.0.0 utility.

I configured the tool for Target: OMAP35xx (Micron), NAND memory type, connection using UART Port #1 on the PC host.

Unfortunately when I ask GO I got immediately the error : Console program failed, exit code: 1

I didn’t get any other output.

What can be this problem and how should I recover?

Hi Noam,

When trying to download the u-boot are you successfully complete the download of the MLO? It is important to download the files in order - MLO, u-boot, uImage.

Hi,

I have found the problem - the Flash 1.6.0.0 must run on XP otherwise the tool looks working but you get the error -

Console program failed, exit code: 1

once you try to connect the target.
