Hello
I design fee on OMAPL138 capture 4 channels of D1 resolution video. I know that on this processor are two video ports. Can I use TVP5158 to capture 4 channels of video in real-time? TVP5158 decoder can pack up to 4 video channels and transmit video to video ports. Would be able video ports to capture packed streams? From documentation at OMAPL138 I did not understand it clearly.

    Even though its not really clear from the documentation I believe you can give 4 channel inputs using TVP5158, as it has capacity to driver HDTV inputs. But what is your exact use case? Have you evaluated DM36x for the same application? There are already DVR designs available based on DM36x which uses TVP5158.
