HI 

I'm am3359 ice board user and i'm trying to run powerlink app but Master S/W didn't works correctly.

Just as it is written in the manual... I downloaded powerlink Live CD and Booting via Live CD was OK..but there is a problem with ethernet Card.. 

From terminal window , I can see this Powerlink Master S/w needs RTL8139 chip.. 

Should my PC has RTL8139 Chip?? is there other way?? or Other Master SW ??

  

Plus - Profibus application..

 

In User Guide you had used ProfiTrace and additional connector...

So two application need additional HW?? right??

    Hi,

    Yes - both the applications require additional hardware. I am not aware of any other PC based Powerlink master s/w.

    Regarding PROFIBUS application - yes, PROFIBUS slave testing require any PROFIBUS master and PROFIBUS serial cable and connectors. ProfiTrace is not mandatory for this though.
