NAND Flash Bad Block Management

Hi,

Regarding, using NAND flash with AM335x.
The AM335x wiki pages mentions that the AM335x NAND Driver(Linux) supports Bad Block Management & ECC,
but we are not able to understand how exactly it is performed.

Here is a link describing NAND Flash Bad Block Management for Linux BSP
but will it be similar in case of AM335x Linux Drivers?

Meanwhile there is also a E2E post(below) describing the mechanism of
NAND Flash driver Bad Block Table for WINCE Drivers:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/wince/f/353/p/213445/773787.aspx#773787
Will this be similar in case of Linux Drivers also?

Please let me know if there is any reference to know more about the Bad Block Management.

Regards.
Paddu.
