Where do TI teams maintain source code?

Hi,

I am working on OMAP-based board, and something makes me confused.

As I know, TI's main source tree for OMAP is located in git.omapzoom.org.
However, I can't retrieve commit by the id provided by release note.

For example, in L27.G.3 OMAP4 GingerBread Release Notes,
I've follow the instruction to checkout kernel source by command "git checkout 0ef939d88258eec69c63f4281783feccd52836ac"
But I can't find this commit in git.omapzoom.org, neither the author "Gustavo Diaz Prado <a0273371@ti.com>"

However, I found something much more closed to the commit message -- in www.gitorious.org
I'm wondering WHY......

Thanks in advance.

Qiao

  • Qian,

Yes, the source code is in git.omapzoom.org.  Here is the link to the commit ID that you referenced http://git.omapzoom.org/?p=kernel/omap.git;a=commit;h=0ef939d88258eec69c63f4281783feccd52836ac

Keep in mind that the Gingerbread releases are quite old.  You should still be able to access the source code, but it would be much better to use the Ice Cream Sandwich or Jellybean releases which are currently supported.

    Regards,
    Gina
