OMAP4430 WatchDog Timer issues.

Hi All,

I am using OMAP4430 PandaBoard BSP.

We are developing the minimal kernel for that but in our case Board is getting restarted in every 180 second.

So what could be the problem can anyone assist for that.

  • Prashant,

There are a lot of possible reasons for a restart.  You would need to share your kernel logs showing the restart for us to at least have a starting point in investigation.

    Regards,
    Gina

  • Hi Gina,

Actually from the log it is cleared that we are reaching to runapps thread and then it is calling the Filesys.dll as we have kept some log message after filesys.dll.

So after that ideally it should start shell , device manager and GWES. But after filesys.dll its going to OEMIdle State and then rebooting after 180 second.

I have attached the condensed log for your reference any help is appreciated.
