Is there any ieee 1588 example code of c6670?

Hi, we are planing to use ieee 1588 module inside c6670 for PTP function. but I have some difficultiies in implementing it.

I found information for time synchronization submodule at Gigabit Ethernet subsystem for keystone devices user's guide. Does Time synchronization submodule mean for ieee1588 module ? Is there any sample code or any other detailed document for 1588 ?

If it is, How can I use this module?  I think  time stamp register should have 64 bit value to store incoming second and nano second. but the Time stamp field for C6670 Time synchronization Events has only 32bit value.

please let me know how to implement 1588 function with c6670 1588 submodule
