Question about H.264 SVC setting in DVRRDK_03.50.00.05

I saw the document "H264_Encoder_HDVICP2_UserGuide.pdf" under the folder "DVRRDK_03.50.00.05\ti_tools\codecs\REL.500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.04.01\500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00\IVAHD_001\Docs".

It mentioned it supports SVC Temporal scalability.

Is there any demo code about SVC? If yes, where is it, and how can i use it?

So when i set numTemporalLayer = VENC_TEMPORAL_LAYERS_4 , it will generate four files with differing frame-rates.

And does the encoder just encode one time to generate four files, or it need to encode four times to generate four files ?

There is no additional overhead with encoder. App should interpret the frames based on temporalId field and derive subset of streams from the complete frames set.
Refer the implementation / comments in VcapVencVdecVdis_ipcBitsWriteBitsToFile() &IH264ENC_OutArgs.temporalId description in encoder user guide.
