Connect TVP5150 to DM3730

Hi guys,

I am trying to connect a TVP5150 to DM3730 with the DevKit8500D board.

I am very lost in these systems. I have to convert NTSC to the digital input. The input to the board has 12 bits and TVP5150 has 8 bits.

If sb has a schematic or something...

I am really new in Linux embed and DaVinci and I am really lost...

Hi Patxi,

You could connect the 8 bits (lines) of the TVP5150 to the most significant bits to the board and the other 4 less significant bits of the board should be filled with zeros.

Hello Patxi,

Did you have any code in linux to initializate the TVP5150 in your board? I have problems with it.

Hi David,

I didn't use the TVP5150 because I didn`t find the drivers. I tried to use the TVP5146 and I bought the embest CAM800-A but I haven´t done it work yet.

I have been working in Windows CE. I have now the project stopped and I cannot offer much help.
