The mk6x program is not working

Dear all

The DSPLIB installation includes the source and the little-endian version of the library, to adapt the DSPLIB into the DSP set as big-endian,I was told to rebuild the source file into the big-endian version.Reffer to the  "C-Compiler user's guide" and  "TMS320C64x DSP Library Programmer’s Reference", I found a really strange problem. I can rebuild the RTS lib, but when I tried to rebuild the DSPLIB, I got a problem, the window shows that  ""File "dsp64x.src" not an archive",even excuting the command "mk6x dsp64x.src −l dsp64x.lib" written in the  TMS320C64x DSP Library Programmer’s Reference. I don't know why .Hope someone can give me a solution on this strange problem.

best regards.

Jie Fang.

  • Jie Fang,

This is the same question as was posted a few hours earlier here. That post was split from an answered thread and moved to the TI C/C++ Compiler Forum where the use of the mk6x program is better supported.

What version of the the Code Generation Tools are you using?

Is there any comment in the files or README that come with the DSPLIB to indicate which version of the CodeGen tools should be used? My guess is a mismatch in tools versions, but there may not be anyone here at the C6000 Single Core Forum who would be able to answer that.
