OMAP3530/3525 -Future DM based deviceswill provide similar functionality as the OMAP3530 and 3525. Beyond these, there are several high-performance, multimedia-focused devices in the DaVinci platform that are in development that will offer even greater video and media performance. These devices will also use the ARM Cortex-A8 processor so application software compatibility can be preserved.

when omap3520 can run at 1G hz, and C64+ run at 800Mhz? I know Am3730 can work at this situation, but Am3730 can not support 3A(auto white balance, auto exposure,auto focus), 3A function is very import for my project. but the current omap3530 can run at 720Mhz, it is a little slow.

AM3730 said it can comsume lower power than omap3530, why omap3530 can't consume little power?

Hi David,

I think you are looking for a device like the just newly introduced DM3730, which can run at 1GHz like the AM37xx chips :-)

With respect to how this can be done with the same/lower power consumption than the original OMAP35xx this is mainly due to the newer devices (AM/DM37xx) being produced in 45nm process technology as opposed to the OMAP35xx which was produced in 65nm...

But I can't find any information about 3A(auto exposure,auto white balance,auto autofocus) in DM3730 spec, those features are very important for me!

Chapter 6.4.8 of the TRM, "Statistics Collection Modules". It contains the same H3A as the OMAP3530.
