CSL migration from 2.50 to 3.00

All:

Moving from CSL 2.50 to 3.00 was responsible for getting rid of 5 compiler warnings:

4 of the type "#225-D function declared implicitly" in csl_intc.c

1 of the type "#551-D variable 'sysRegs' is used before its value is set" in csl_i2s.c

However, there is a newly introduced warning in CSL 3.00

"#64-D shift count is too large" in csl_spi.c

Is there a plan to change CSL 3.00 to clear up this warning, or does a workaround exist for the warning?

  • Hi Todd,

It's a small world. When I searched for the warning " variable 'sysRegs' is used before its value is set" in csl_i2s.c", I found your post. It may be the same problem for the same case. So is there any solution now, or shall we still keep the warning?
