Does anyone know how to make u-boot work with directly using DaVinci EMAC_1 (the second EMAC)?
I am porting u-boot (version 2010.06) for a custom board of TI-8168 SoC, where the second EMAC controller connecting to MII/MDIO interface of PHYs. So far the ported code is able to detect the link status of the PHY withing using Generic PHY driver. The problem I am having now is that fuction davinci_eth_send_packet() in file drivers/net/davinci_emac.c sends out a ping paket to DMA engine but it does not come out the ethernet wire. I suspect that the DMA engine or Channel or BASE MEM needs set up correcting for the second EMAC controller.
Any help or pointer to the knowledge would be appreciated.
