OS requirements for development environments

As an example I am referencing this page: http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsevm6670

Towards the bottom under "Order Now" their is a column for OS. The 6670L lists "Win95/98/NT" and the 6670LE list "Microsoft Windows XP". Is this relevant because I do not see any of the EVM list an OS over WinXP. Will these EVMs be able to be programmed on windows 7 ?

You can use CCS5. which is the development environment under windows 7, please check - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv5#Q:_Is_Windows_7_supported.3F under Operating System Support,

Thanks HRi for the info. I know CSSv5 is supported under windows 7 but I think my question was more concerned with hardware drivers for the specific EVM boards. Will the proper USB drivers exist in a win7 environment to communicate with the board through CCSv5 using XDS100 or XDS560v2 emulation?

Aaron,

Those drivers are integrated into CCS, the FAQ referenced does cover this. Yes it works with Win7. Almost everyone here at TI is using Win7 and all of my engineers have these EVMs.
