import CSL v2.5 CCS v4.2.4 examples to CCS v5.3

Hello,

I am trying to import CSL v2.5 examples from CCS v4.2.4 to CCS v5.3 without success (I have the ezc5535 board).

It seems that the path for CSL are not defined the same way on CCS5.3 and on CCS v4.2.4

In CCS v4.2.4, path are defined in properties / C-C++ builder / Macros

In CCS v5.3 I dont not have find the path for the linker, so I have errors when trying to call CSL 2.5 API function.

Does any one can help me ?

Hi Nicolas,

Which examples are giving you these errors? I did a fresh download of CSL 2.5 and imported the v4 examples into CCS v5.2.1 and I the only error that popped up was an issue linking some projects to the cslVC5505 library. Is that the error that you're getting?

Hi Juliana

I am trying to runn UART examples (polling, IT & DMA).

I may re-try, but as far as I remember, this VC5505.lib files was missing.

Nicolas,

The cslVC5505.lib file is created when the cslVC5505 project is built (the UART examples are dependent on this project). If you still find problems, please download the latest version of the CSL. It has many bug fixes and it is compatible with Code Composer v5.
