HI, Im new to omap l138 evm.

Im studying with evmomap-l138.bsl, some examples and materials.

I want to set the two of led in the board to gpio output.

all examples set the led to output using i2c.

but I don't want to use i2c.

Plz advice what I have to do for setting leds to output using gpio without i2c.

First check schematics to see whether any LEDs are directly connected to any of the GPIOs? if so just by toggling the GPIO lines you can turn on the LEDs.

Hi Adrien,

if you use the LogicPD OMAP-L138 evm (or experimenter), the two user LEDs are connected to GPIO of DSP through TCA6416, which is I2C IO expander. So, to my mind, in this case, the the LEDs can be toggled only by using the code for I2C.
