GPMC in VHDL

Hi,

I need to communicate with OMAP via FPGA (Spartan 6 family) so I need to implement GPMC in mode 16 bits non-multiplexed into the FPGA, preferably in VHDL.

So has any body done this before of has anyone got anything that can help me?

Hi Ali,

The GMPC of OMAP3530 supports communication with external 16-bit non-multiplexed device with limited address range (2 Kbytes). You could read more about GPMC features and programming model in the TRM chapter 10.1 General-Purpose Memory Controller at the link:
